Mica Yurk

Mica Yurk is Vice President of Consulting at The Joxel Group, LLC, where she helps healthcare organizations transform technology into meaningful operational improvements that drive better outcomes for providers, staff, and the communities they serve. Since beginning her healthcare consulting career in 2011, Mica has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to behavioral health, public sector, and human services organizations. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.

Mica began her career implementing Epic at Aurora Health Care across Wisconsin, Michigan, and Illinois, where she became a Credentialed Epic Trainer, leading physician training and providing at-the-elbow support during enterprise-wide implementations. She later joined Aurora’s optimization team as a Business Analyst before transitioning to Agnesian HealthCare as a Revenue Cycle Business Analyst and Project Manager, where she led Cerner implementation initiatives for four years.

In 2016, Mica joined The Joxel Group as an Engagement Director and was promoted to Vice President of Consulting in 2019. In her current role, she leads consulting operations, client relationships, project delivery, and staff development. She has become a subject matter expert in Netsmart’s myAvatar and myEvolv platforms, helping behavioral health, public sector, and human services organizations successfully implement, optimize, and strategically leverage their EHR systems to improve operations and better serve the individuals and communities who rely on them.

Mica specializes in executive advisory services, strategic planning, EHR implementation, workflow redesign, operational assessments, and change management. She is passionate about diving deep into complex workflows and partnering with clients and her team to uncover practical, sustainable solutions that create meaningful results. Known for her honest communication, thoughtful guidance, and collaborative approach, Mica builds trusted relationships by listening first, understanding challenges, and providing clear recommendations — even when difficult conversations are necessary. Her leadership philosophy centers on creating a “happy path” that balances operational efficiency, high-quality care, and client satisfaction while empowering her team to deliver exceptional results.

Outside of work, Mica enjoys spending summers on Lake Michigan aboard her boat, My Dad’s Legacy, a tribute to her father and the memories they shared. When she’s not on the water, she enjoys walking her Great Pyrenees, cheering on her son from the sidelines, and spending time with her family.
