Zubair Dhala

Dhala serves as Chief Technology Officer at The Joxel Group, where he leads the technical team and works directly with clients to deliver timely, practical solutions — whether that means guiding strategy or rolling up his sleeves to solve a problem himself.

Zubair brings fifteen years of management consulting experience exclusively in healthcare, helping government agencies and non-profit organizations deliver innovative IT and business solutions. After earning master’s degrees in Computer Science and Healthcare Informatics, he began his career as a technical analyst and has since advanced through roles as a lead, architect, and enterprise integration architect on his way to CTO. Along the way, he has implemented electronic health record (EHR) systems, built new products from the ground up, and overseen complex data conversions and migrations from on-premises systems to the cloud.

As an executive leader, Zubair has a track record of turning IT into a strategic partner rather than a support function. He has rebuilt trust between business units and IT, delivered niche technical solutions that strengthened business processes for government agencies, and designed integration services enabling secure exchange of clinical and financial data with partners. He has led EHR implementation and optimization across billing, clinical, order entry, pharmacy integration, and data analytics; directed the rollout of a unified EHR system replacing five disjointed platforms; overseen major infrastructure upgrades; and renegotiated vendor contracts to reduce costs while strengthening long-term partnerships.

What motivates Zubair most is solving hard problems that make a real difference for the organizations and communities his clients serve. His leadership philosophy centers on sharing knowledge freely and empowering the people around him — he believes leadership isn’t about hoarding information, but about helping every member of the team grow.

Outside of work, Zubair stays active and enjoys playing cricket in the summer, along with following cricket, basketball, and football. He treasures time spent with his wife and four-year-old daughter, whether at home or out exploring together.
